| Information Systems Technology |
The Information Systems Technology (IST) program provides for the needs of a dynamic
and integral part of business and industry - the information systems environment, also known as
information technology or IT. To meet the demands of the current technological era, students
gain skills in both technical and business applications, including computer concepts and applications,
problem solving, decision making, human relations, evaluation, analysis and communications. |
| Supply Chain and Logistics Technology |
The Supply Chain and Logistics Technology program focuses on effective management of the supply chain activities and
the information flow needed to optimize processes and costs to efficiently and effectively serve the customer.
International issues, production schedules, procurement, transportation services, and inventory
management activities are studied as individual functions as well as the relationships between these functions. |
| Technology Leadership and Supervision |
The TLS degree focuses on providing individuals with a competitive advantage when moving into
leadership and supervisory roles in technology based organizations. The program investigates
the rapidly changing and complex nature of leadership in organizations that use and rely on
technology on a day to day basis. The TLS degree provides a long term, empowering approach to
the practice of leading people rather than the short term, command and control approach to utilizing
human resources. Students learn about leadership, the importance of organizational vision and values,
developing human resources, and managing technological resources in corporate, government, or
community organizations. Leadership skills in goal-setting, time management, verbal and visual
communication, and leadership values and abilities are developed through relevant real world
applications. |
| Technology Project Management - Information Systems Security |
The Masters of Science (M.S.) in Technology Project Management - Information Systems Security (TPM-ISS) comprises an M.S. degree in project management with an emphasis in Information Systems Security. The degree plan for a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Technology Project Management is designed specifically to
prepare individuals with undergraduate degrees in technology disciplines for responsible leadership roles in
the technology-based and information-based workplaces. The core courses provide in-depth preparation in project
management skills. Being able to plan and manage technology projects is an increasingly important skill for
those with a technical background. The Information Systems Security specialization equips technology professionals
to assess the security needs of information and network systems and then to manage the implementation and maintenance
of the recommended security solutions. |

prepare individuals with undergraduate degrees in technology disciplines for responsible leadership roles in
the technology-based and information-based workplaces. The core courses provide in-depth preparation in project
management skills. Being able to plan and manage technology projects is an increasingly important skill for
those with a technical background.It is designed
for the professional who seeks advanced preparation in logistics, inventory management, transportation, sales, and procurement.
Core courses focus on the development of project management skills that are designed to prepare graduates for responsible
leadership roles in technology- and information-based workplaces. Course topics in the area of emphasis include distribution
evaluation, multi-national distribution, distribution strategies, and procurement strategies. Students also complete six
additional hours of elective coursework. |
| Certificate in Project Management - PMI |
The design goal of this program is to provide a high level exposure to the theory and
practice of project management. The program is offered through the College of
Technology as a two course sequence. This comprehensive program prepares
participants to handle the full scope of project management and to pass the highly
respected Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification course. |
| Certificate in Human Resources-SHRM

The SPHR and PHR Certification "preparatory" courses are designed for HR professionals who desire to achieve the industry certification that sets them apart as true professionals in the field of HR. The courses are intended to provide the knowledge and the in-depth training necessary in a broad range of functional HR areas to prepare participants for the HRCI certification exam. |
