Dr. Katy Greenwood has been a continuing advocate for training and development as a curriculum component at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the College of Technology. Her research interests also include faculty governance in academia. She is the College representative to the University Faculty Senate and is currently Chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee of the Senate, member of the advisory group to the University of Houston Human Resources Department and member of the advisory group to the University of Houston System on the upcoming capital campaign; she is working on a grant to study policies and structures that inhibit women in engineering, science and technology from advancing to leadership roles.
