The Post-Baccalaureate program offers you a way to develop new expertise beyond what you gained from your undergraduate degree. You can take courses from the College of Technology while in the post-baccalaureate program, but taking graduate courses as a post-baccalaureate student does not constitute admission to the College of Technology graduate program nor does it guarantee that all post-baccalaureate courses will apply to a Master of Science degree.
Complete a Transfer application through the Texas Common Application. Application deadlines are posted on the Office of Admissions web site.
Have your official transcript conferring your Bachelor's Degree (and any other degrees) sent from your former institution(s) to the Office of Admissions, Room 122 E. Cullen, Houston, TX 77204-2023.
Register for your classes. If you plan to pursue a graduate degree, it is advisable to seek assistance with course selection from that department.
Begin the graduate application process by registering for the appropriate entrance exam(s) and submitting the graduate application, fee, 3 letters of reference and letter of intent. Contact the Graduate Program Advisor at (713) 743-4100 if you have questions.
Graduate level course registration is restricted to the list of approved courses. Not all courses in the list will be offered every term.
Advanced courses taken while students are classified as post baccalaureates may be applied toward a graduate degree, but there are limitations:
