Welcome to my personal web site where you will find information related to my teaching, research and publications.

I am an Assistant Professor in the College of Technology at the University of Houston. My main interests are in information security, systems theory and secure software design. I have a teaching philosophy built around a mix of theory and practical knowledge, designed to teach students how to become technology contributors both today and in the future. My research philosophy is to examine how complex systems work, both the software and the human interactions. Users are a vital part of the system and play a role in the system performance and response.
