6. March 27, 2013: Spring 2013 Membership Drive Meeting featuring Ms. Mary Cannon from BDM PENTAIR Valves Controls (winner of 2012 ISA national Student Mentor of the Year -- Member's Choice) and Dr. Gangbing Song from our own Mechanical Engineering Department (winner of 2012 ISA Excellence in Education award).
Time: March 28 (Thursday) from 4~5PM Location: T 101.
Mary will share with you her experience with ISA as a professional and Dr. Song will give presentation and demonstration on smart material based automation systems.

Nov 2, 2012, UH ISA Student Chapter hosted "Enabling Technology for Sustainable Energy Future Series" featuring talk and live demonstration by Mr. Igor Alvarado from National Instruments on "New Technologies for Real-Time Simulation, Measurement and Control in Oil&Gas industry." Studnets learned about how LabVIEW and CompactRIO are used for real time Hydraulic Fracturing monitoring and control. There are a lot for our CET students to contribute in the sustainable energy future!
